A free block for your website
Add this to your site, newsletter or members area in about five minutes. It collects nothing, tracks nothing, and sends people to their own USA state government's free search.
1 in 7 Americans is owed money they do not know about
Old bank accounts, uncashed pay cheques, insurance payouts, utility deposits and final wages get handed to your state government after a few years of no contact. The National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators estimates the states are holding around $70 billion of it, with the average person owed more than $2,000. Searching is free and takes about 30 seconds.
Find your state's official search Search 49 states at once
Both links go to official state government programs. Never pay anyone an upfront fee to find money in your name, and never give your details to a company that contacts you first. You can always claim it yourself for free.

Who is behind this…
My name is Rich Williams. I am a registered nurse from Kelso, New South Wales, Australia, recently retired after a career in patient care.
For sixteen years I have searched government unclaimed property registers and told people, at no charge, that money is being held in their name. I have sent more than 2,300 verified notifications. I have never taken a commission, never charged a fee, and never asked anyone for their bank details. I do not act as a finder or an agent. I simply tell people where to look, and they claim their own money directly from their own state, for free.
This block exists because the hardest part of the problem is not searching. Every state already offers a free search. The hard part is the moment someone is told to look. Most people never get that moment.
If your organisation has a website, a newsletter or a members area, you can give thousands of people that moment in about five minutes, and it costs you nothing.
You are welcome to check me before you use anything here.

How to add it to your site
1. Open the page where you want it. A thank you page, a signup confirmation, a members area, a resources page or a footer all work.
2. Add a Custom HTML or Code block. In WordPress this is the Custom HTML block, in Squarespace it is a Code block, in Wix it is Embed HTML.
3. Paste the code below into it and save.
There is no JavaScript, no tracking, no cookie and no external file. Nothing loads from another server. It is plain HTML with inline styling, so it will not affect the rest of your page and it needs no maintenance.
One request. Please keep the last line. It tells your visitors this is a free public service and not a commercial offer, which is the main reason people trust it enough to act on it. Everything else is yours to adjust.
If you cannot add code, there is a plain text version further down that works in newsletters and printed magazines.
